Do we need a hazardous materials safety advisor?
A dangerous materials safety advisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements. For the storage of dangerous materials, these are, for example, the technical rules for dangerous materials (TRGS). In the event of an inspection by the authorities, violations can thus be avoided.
What is the cost of a hazardous materials safety advisor?
We offer you the external dangerous material assignment from a flat rate of 600,- € per year. You can find more details in the Prices section.
What qualifications do you have as a hazardous materials safety advisor?
We have been advising on the subject of storage of dangerous materials for many years and are also active as authors at the publishing house Forum Wissen.
What does the consulting contract look like?
The contract contains all relevant points of the assignment and is just under three pages long. The term is usually three years. Choose a Standard or Premium contract.
What are hazardous materials safety advisors allowed to do?
We advise the entrepreneur and the division managers (e.g. warehouse or logistics managers) and make recommendations.
Is there a difference between a dangerous goods safety advisor and a hazardous materials safety advisor?
Yes, there is. The Dangerous Material Officer advises on the storage of dangerous substances. The dangerous goods safety advisor advises on the transport of dangerous goods. We are at your side in both cases.
Why is the storage of dangerous substances such a problem?
This is mainly due to the large number of different hazards posed by dangerous materials. There is also not just one law, but about 100 laws, ordinances and regulations that are or can be affected in the storage of dangerous materials.
Furthermore, many companies have dangerous materials that are usually stored. These are mainly lubricants, cleaning agents, aerosol cans, rechargeable batteries, etc.
