FAQ
Company specific Dangerous Goods Instructions

1

Who must attend a dangerous goods instruction?

The training is intended for all employees who handle dangerous goods or whose area of responsibility includes dangerous goods. This means that the dangerous goods training must be given to all those who are involved in the transport or dispatch of dangerous goods. For example, the dangerous goods instruction must therefore be given to employees involved in loading and unloading, as well as to the personnel of forwarders and shippers, and to vehicle drivers involved in the transport of dangerous goods by road.

The great advantage of our company-specific dangerous goods instruction is that we can respond to the requirements of your company. In this way, we increase the relevance of the dangerous goods instruction for the participants. Thus, your employees receive the optimal dangerous goods instruction.

ProSafeCon is the leading provider of training and instruction in the area of dangerous goods. In addition to this company specific dangerous goods training, we also offer you and your employees The Dangerous Goods Battery Seminars as well as the IATA Dangerous Goods Training Online.

Dangerous goods instruction: How often must employees be instructed?

All persons involved in the transport of dangerous goods must be trained and instructed according to their function. The various regulations set out the basis for this. Employees must be trained and instructed before taking up their duties and at regular intervals thereafter. It is recommended that this instruction be carried out at least every 2 years, as the dangerous goods regulations change every 2 years. In practice, however, many companies have established an annual cycle for the instruction due to the breadth of the topic. The instruction must be documented in writing and submitted to the competent authority upon request. The dangerous goods instruction for employees can be repeated as often as you wish. You can participate in the instruction as often as you need until you feel confident in handling dangerous goods. If you have individual questions, please ask us at the end of the instruction.
